What is a Condo?

A condominium, or condo for short, is a type of real estate property you can buy in NYC. These units are sold either by the building’s developer (sponsor units) or by the previous owner (resale). Why Buy a Condo?

For example, if you are interested in making your condo into an investment unit instead of your primary residence, there is no co-op rule to stop you.
