Renters make up the majority of residents in Morrisania with large apartment complexes dotting the landscape here. There’s a slew of new projects heading Morrisania’s way though. Primarily via Melrose, several companies are planning massive projects, which will include over 300 affordable housing units and a 300-seat music hall. Sporadic green space breaks up the urban landscape throughout Morrisania with Reverend Lena Irons Unity Park and Estella Diggs Park. The area also houses part of the lush Crotona Park.
